Hand-painted cushions on Métis fabric (linen and cotton). It is a thick and resistant fabric.
Then once painted the fabric, i sew it in my workshop.
I use paints specially designed for textiles and washable at 40 ° C.
This paint is resistant over time and everyday use.
All cushions are removable with a zipper for easy cleaning.
For some cushions I used dyeing to dye the Métis fabric. Then paint on it.
I also used the Tie and Dye technique and a Japanese folding technique called Shibori to dye and create geometric shapes.
